Sara Harris, MFT

Sara Harris, MFT, received an M.A in Clinical Psychology and a M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 1982, and has been in private practice ever since.

Her passion for learning has led her to a wide range of on-going studies, including the Enneagram, Object Relations, and Body-Oriented Psychotherapy. She was a student of the Diamond Approach from the early 1990’s until 2004. Sara also is a licensed HeartMath® provider, and offers their cutting-edge Stress Relief program.

Since 2000, Sara has also studied EcoPsychology. She is the co-founder of EarthWays, a collective dedicated to Rites of Passage and earth-based teachings. She serves on the board of the School of Lost Borders.

Sara began the Sonoma County chapter of Bread for the Journey in the late 1990’s, a national non-profit dedicated to nurturing neighborhood philanthropy, and just recently retired from that board.
